Welcome to Chicagoland Officiant! These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our services. By engaging our services, you accept these terms and conditions in full. If you disagree with any part of these terms and conditions, you must not use our services.

In these terms and conditions:
- “We”, “Us”, “Our” refers to Chicagoland Officiant, operated by Minister Edward Dring.
- “You”, “Your” refers to the client engaging our marriage officiant services.
- “Services” refers to the marriage officiant services provided by Chicagoland Officiant.
- “Ceremony” refers to the wedding ceremony officiated by Minister Edward Dring.
2. Service Agreement
Our services include officiating wedding ceremonies, providing consultation for ceremony planning, and offering personalized ceremony scripts. The specific details of the services will be agreed upon in a separate service agreement or contract.
3. Booking and Payment
To secure our services, a deposit may be required at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due as specified in the service agreement. We accept various forms of payment, including cash, check, and electronic transfers. Details regarding payment methods will be provided upon booking.
4. Cancellation and Refunds
If you need to cancel our services, you must notify us in writing as soon as possible. Cancellation fees may apply, depending on the timing of the cancellation. The refund policy will be detailed in the service agreement.
5. Rescheduling
Rescheduling of the ceremony is subject to our availability. We will make every effort to accommodate your request, but we cannot guarantee availability. Additional fees may apply for rescheduling.
6. Responsibilities
We are responsible for providing professional and timely officiant services as agreed upon. You are responsible for obtaining all necessary marriage licenses and permits. You are also responsible for providing accurate information regarding the ceremony details.
7. Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to the fees paid for our services. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with our services. We are not responsible for any issues related to the venue, vendors, or other third parties involved in the ceremony.
8. Intellectual Property
Any ceremony scripts or materials provided by us remain our intellectual property. You may use these materials for personal use only and may not reproduce or distribute them without our written consent.
9. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Illinois.
10. Amendments
We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website and will be effective immediately. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms and conditions.
